Team Swiss-Jobing and the Mountain Biking Association of Arizona (MBAA) recently donated $400 to the AZ Devo U-23 Cycling Team. The money donated was raised from the race fees for the Fat Tire 40 race Team Swiss-Jobing promoted back in March. The MBAA was a huge supporter of our first year event and lent us a hand by letting us rent all of the equipment they have. Since the MBAA is not-for-profit organization, it was decided that the rental fee should be donated to a local charity.
We all felt that the best use of the money would be to support youth cycling in Arizona. No one is doing a better job supporting this cause than the AZ Devo Team. Last Updated (Tuesday, 10 January 2012 11:35) |

Should you convert to Tubeless Road Wheels? My first impressions..... Are you in the market for a new set of road wheels? Have you been showing up to local crits or group rides wishing you could afford a set of those sweet carbon wheels? If you answered yes or are just a junkie for new toys you should take a look at getting a set of tubeless road wheels. I recently put a set of Stan's Tubeless Road Rims on my Power Tap hub and a Campy Chorus front hub. I was hoping to get an improvement in rotating weight, which I got, but was shocked at the improvements in ride comfort and rolling resistance. Last Updated (Thursday, 09 June 2011 16:07)

Early Season Race Report
Team Swiss-Jobing has kicked off the 2011 Season with some nice results. Last weekend at the Mountain Bike Race at Estrella, Mimmo Futia won the Pro Men field. I had the pleasure of working the feed zone for Mimmo and I have to say he was FLYING!
Team Swiss-Jobing is also getting some nice results on the road with podium finishes in a number of crits so far. Then today at the Valley of the Sun Stage race, Aaron Matos threw down in the opening TT and got a huge win. We will have to keep an eye on this race all weekend to see if Nick, Mike, Steve, and Joe can help Aaron hold on for the win!
Ok, so Aaron had a tough time in the Road Race at VOS. But he did manage to hold on to 2nd place overall. He even managed to get a 4th place finish in the Crit on Sunday. So the man can TT and Sprint. I think we need to help him with his climbing. Nice Job Aaron! 2nd overall in one of the toughest races in the US is not to shabby.
